The trade fair “Cebit” takes place in Hanover every year .
Japan is the partner country of this year.
At the Cebit, many companies are focusing on the topics
such as Internet of Things, Industry 4.0 and Digitization.
We also went to Hannover for a project.
Cebit is an important trade fair in Hanover, just like the Hannover Fair.
Many German companies see Cebit as one of the most important trade fairs in Germany.
Many people visit this fair from different countries.
For us, this year’s Cebit was something special
since Japan is the partner country this year.

German Chancellor Angela Merkel visits the Cebit every year.
This year she appeared with the Japanese Prime Minister
Shinzo Abe together on the welcome night.
Before Mrs Merkel and Mr Abe held their speeches,
there was a performance from the Japanese actor
Mirai Moriyama and his team
which has linked Japanese technologies and dance.
